Luke

Goatley

Luke started his agency career as a trainee negotiator for George Proctor & Partners, a well known local agency. Within a few years he had been promoted to Branch Manager and ran a successful office for the firm for some time. In 2015 he moved to run the flagship Bromley office for Sinclair Hammelton where he stayed until 2019, leaving to form Goatley Hirst.

Luke was born in Bromley and has lived here for over 35 years, he currently lives with his wife, their baby Ryan and Rhodesian Ridgeback Jackson. Having lived and worked in the Borough and its surrounding area's for such a long time gives Luke an extensive local knowledge both professionally and personally.

Starting his own agency was always his dream from the start, spending years as a successful Branch Manager enabled him to learn and refine how he felt a modern agency should work. His passion comes from building relationships and working with his clients from valuation to completion, selling their homes and/or finding them new ones.

Luke has sold hundreds of local properties in his career ranging from first time homes to investment opportunities to luxury high end real estate, he has also put together numerous land and new homes deals and worked with various developers. He can advise on any aspect of the property market and has been invited as a guest speaker to various businesses and groups.

Matthew

Hirst

Matthew moved from Bromley North to West Wickham with his wife a few years ago but much like Luke has lived and worked locally for a long time. Matt is an avid football fan and enjoys attending games when possible, he enjoys good food, time with family and particularly George, his Beagle puppy.

Matt started his career in hospitality and quickly worked his way up to bar manager, after some years he decided it was time for a change of industry. He quickly realised that the skills he had learned previously were transferable and in not much time at all was achieving a great deal of success, being promoted and outselling everyone else in the company.

After his promotion to Assistant Manager, Matt was still outselling the junior negotiators but also meeting clients on valuations and bringing their properties to market. This he would say is where he started to refine his own idea's on the industry. "I would bring a property to market only for it to be dealt with by someone else. I wanted to see the whole process through and in every instance where I did, I built long lasting relationships with the clients I worked with, many that I keep today"

Having worked with Luke for many years a partnership made complete sense. Goatley Hirst was formed and Matt is delighted to be working with you.
